1. Page Titles
Page titles are one of the most important On-Page SEO factors for your website & all the web pages & posts across your website should have its own unique title, meta descriptions, and you should always include the focus keywords for that particular webpage.
Some of the best Page Title practices for On-Page SEO:
- You should always try to describe the page content in its title. Always try to choose a page title that is informative as well as eye-catching to the user finding it on search engines like Google and Bing. Also, if possible try to avoid default or choosing a title that has no relation to the page.
- Create a unique page title, It will be helpful for both the user and the Google crawlers. If your website is having a different mobile version (not recommended) then you should use different page titles too.
- Your page title can be short as well as informative, You must always follow the proper guidelines by Google for this which describes that a page title does not exceed the character limit.
For example, you could write a blog post about a new phone which is recently launched that you have tried. It is therefore vitally important that you include ‘Phone’ within your post title, perhaps “Recently Launched SmartPhone” or “ Cheapest Phone Launched”, etc. Don’t forget to follow the character limit for page title which is around 70 – 90.
