Story – A Sweet Love Story

A Beautiful Dialogue from the movie is a reality nowadays. You will find it more as a Poetic Movie.

“Har koi Pyaar Karna sikhata hai, Magar us Pyaar ko bhule kesse yeh koi ni btata”

The story is based on a Romantic Love Story, Bindu(Parineeti Chopra) wants to become a singer, And she tried to launch her own series of the album but she got failed in it, she is very aspiring, she is mad and she Dreams very big.

The Writer has performed well and we should be praised his story,  Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushman Khurrana) acting as a writer in the movie does not believe in love when he started writing the books after Bindu leaves him and have never launched a book on any love story, Neither of his own.

At one point, Abhimanyu’s (Khurrana) agent tells him, “Don’t try to become Gulzar.” and ask him to add some Exotic Titles and write more Intense Stories as it is trendy nowadays. This dialogue often employs abstract lines to describe simple situations.

In the Beginning, it all starts from the childhood, Bindu shifted from Chennai, and start living as the neighbours of Abhi. They both are in their kid stage and enjoy each others company.

They play together and they go to school together, they have been together for two decades. Abhi is madly in love with his mad neighbour Bindu. Mad, unreciprocated love.

Abhimanyu is a well-Known author of many horror books. “Horror sells, Once Abhi’s Parents was trying to fix a match and he mentioned a family a particularly hilarious sequence involving the girl’s father reading out steamy portions from one of his books is one of the high points of this beautifully-written film.

We all know Abhimanyu when he is struggling with one of his book based on a  ‘love story’, a project he needs to get out of the way before another visit from his publisher happens. Abhi hasn’t written a book for three years.

He is struggling with a severe case of writer’s capabilities and his Publisher friend was bearing all the losses. And he types and discards his words, the crumpled balls of paper lying all around his sea-facing Mumbai flat.

Now, we are thrown off guard when Abhimanyu’s mom and dad call him to announce they are divorcing each other(Prank). Roy is back to Kolkata and relatives cheering him with ‘Welcome Home Bubla’.

He got very much disturbed there, soon he started living in the hotel Room, to complete his book. In the middle of a Bengali madhouse, like any Bengali household is, Abhi stumbles upon a mix-tape.

Meri Pyaari Bindu

We are taken on a trip of his life. He tells us the story of his first crush, Bindu, her father, and mother. It is not a happy story. There are happy moments and Director Akshay Roy gives us a story all too relatable.

The story of Meri Pyaari Bindu shines for most parts. The first half is brilliantly done. We see Bindu through his Lines. We fall for Bindu through his lines. The credit behind Meri Pyaari Bindu is as much its actors’ as it is the director.

So in the second half, the film gets very slow. But the next scene makes up for it. Much like the bumps in Abhi and Bindu’s story.

Meri Pyaari Bindu scores big in the writing. The flavor of Calcutta is captured well. Abhimanyu’s family is a Bengali family. Full Numbers to the casting director for choosing actors who could blend into the scene without a crinkle.

Akshay Roy’s hero Ayushmann shoulders Abhimanyu with an ease that even a Bengali-speaking actor might not have been able to. Parineeti is vivacious as ever. She shines in her role as Bindu. Sachin-Jigar’s music adds to the overall charm of Meri Pyaari Bindu – Sweet Story

Meri Pyaari Bindu

Watch this Movie for everything. And come out of the theater with a big, foolish smile. The kind that appears on your face after a bite into a keema samosa on a rainy Calcutta day, after a sip of your hot sweet tea.those songs in the mixtape, Meri Pyaari Bindu fails to be an all-time classic.
